The Chan Sisters
Winding Moonlight was born in Hong Kong, founded by me, Meiying and with my younger sister Meiyan as our lead designer.
We grew up together, drawn to the same beautiful, quiet things.
Having her beside me, bringing every piece to life through her design, is what makes this brand feel like something more than a brand. It's ours.
Our Founder
It started in vintage shops, in the corners of cities I was passing through. I always lingered too long by the jewellery, drawn to old craftsmanship and pieces that carry a sense of time.
But the most beautiful ones were always the hardest to wear. Too precious, too much for a Tuesday.
I kept wondering: what if they kept their character, but were made for every day?
That's why I started Winding Moonlight. The best parts of the past, made to be carried with you.
Our Designer
Meiyan is the heart behind every design, and the person I know best.
She studied and worked across the UK, France and Italy, on projects with Louis Vuitton, Vivienne Tam and Avavav.
But she has never followed where everyone else is going. Since we were little, she's had a quiet stubbornness: every piece needs a twist, it has to mean something, and it has to be hers.
She won't let a piece go until it's right. That's the care we hope you feel each time you wear one.
